Safe at Home provides several home and facility safety services including, but not limited to the following:

    Safety Consultations
Safe at Home will come out to your home or facility to evaluate the safety of the environment. You can request a consultation using the Contact Us page.

    Safety Checks
Safe at Home can provide you with regularly scheduled safety checks. Safe at Home will go room by room and provide written recommendations regarding safety procedures.

    Bi-Annual Safety Analysis
Safe at Home can also map out a bi-annual or yearly home safety analysis to ensure that the environment keeps up with your or your loved one's needs.

    Home Modifications
Safe at Home is able to provide you with recommendations on equipment and other safety installations such as grab bars, shower seats, and electric lifts for going up and down stairs or for getting into a bathtub. Safe at Home can work with your designers in building handicapped accessible rooms in your home. Safe at Home can also fit an individual for a customized wheelchair or scooter.

    Installation Support
Safe at Home has experienced installers that will assist with installations.

    Individual Safety Training
Safe at Home believes that those who are trained about personal safety are less likely to fall, break a bone, or otherwise be injured.

    Caregiver Training
We can train caregivers to safely transfer the patient onto the tub, onto the toilet, or into the bed from a wheelchair, walker, or scooter. Our licensed occupational therapists who specialize in geriatric/older adult population are able to show caregivers how to set up a home or facility environment that minimizes safety risks.

    Family Safety Training
The more a family participates in the safety of their loved ones, the less likely accidents or falls will occur. Safe at Home is happy to provide families with group training in this regard.

Please note that some services may be covered by insurance. Also note that our safety services are conducted by a licensed occupational therapist who specializes in geriatric/older adult population, with over 20 years of experience in occupational therapy and nursing-home care.
